Q. How long does it take to dismantle a kitchen?
A. Approximately 3 hours for a standard kitchen.
Q. How long does it take to remove a bathroom?
A. Approximately 8 hours for a standard bathroom.
Q. Is it possible to remove our existing granite/stone bench tops intact?
A. We can try, but are unable to guarantee it, due to the material being brittle, weak points such as the sink cut out and fixing cement.
Q. Is it possible to remove our cabinet work intact for reinstallation/resale?
A. Yes, however we would need an onsite consultation with our client, as this process does incur an extra cost due to the risk of breakage and additional time.
Q. What preparations need to be carried out by the customer prior to a kitchen removal?
A. We ask that all cabinets and work tops are clear, furniture in the immediate vicinity and/or removal path be covered and doors closed for protection from airborne dust produced by the removal process.

Q. Do Siteclean protect floors?
A. We carry dust sheets in our vehicles to cover floors in the immediate vicinity of work and path of travel, however we do encourage customers to do any additional covering prior to our arrival onsite.
Q. Can Siteclean carry out any additional preparation work for us if required?
A We are able to seal off doors with plastic, also cover furniture & floors with plastic however we would need to attend site to quote a fee for this service.
Q. What is not included in a kitchen removal?
A Floor covering, stud/block wall (non−load bearing), ceiling, doors, fridges, windows.
Q. What is not included in a bathroom removal?
A Rendered/wall area above tiled sections, stud/block wall (non load bearing), sub floor (under floor tiles and screed/base), ceiling/insulation, cornice, windows and door. Additional work will be priced accordingly.
Q. Is all waste removed from site on completion, and is waste removal included in the estimation/quotation?
A Yes waste removal is part of our service, the area is also swept prior to leaving site.
Q. Do Siteclean notify customer of time of arrival?
A Clients are contacted and given a timeframe on the evening prior to the job.
Q. How many attend site to remove a kitchen or bathroom?
A Usually a team of 2 with a ute and/or trailer depending on the size of the removal and the difficulty of access to the site.
Q. How much noise will be involved?
A Jack hammers and demolition hammers are used for tiles, render, concrete or block wall and floor removal, therefore noise and vibration is inevitable. We recommend vacating the property where possible, and notifying neighbours as a courtesy, especially in unit blocks.
